“Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.”
— John 21:15

✨ Reflection

Jesus didn’t hand over pastoral leadership to Peter without first probing the depth of his love. Leadership in the Church isn’t built on skill, status, or boldness—but on love.
A shepherd without love will hurt the flock, not guide it. In today’s Gospel, Christ reminds us that love is the first test of responsibility. Before Jesus says “Feed my sheep,” He asks, “Do you love me?”

🙏🏽 Prayer

Lord Jesus, purify my heart and teach me to love You above all things. Make me a shepherd—wherever I lead or serve—who leads with tenderness, humility, and love.
