our Mission
To make the Word of God visible, memorable, and nourishing every single day through pictorial Scripture reflections rooted in Catholic faith and missionary conviction.
WHO WE ARE:
Daily Scriptural Nuggets (DSN) is a digital apostolate of Catholic priests and collaborators from various parts of the world. We are bound by a shared passion for God’s Word and a desire to evangelize through visual media. The apostolate was born on July 15, 2020, during a time when the world longed for hope, connection, and spiritual grounding. What began as simple daily reflections shared among friends has now grown into a global ministry, spanning Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Belgium, the Netherlands, Congo-Brazzaville, and Germany. We offer pictorial nuggets of Scripture - one image, the lectionary readings of the day, and one brief reflection, posted daily across social platforms and now preserved here on this website. These are not mere quotes or designs, but prayerful invitations to encounter the living Word in the ordinary rhythm of daily life.
OUR INSPIRATION
Our work is inspired by the Church’s invitation to proclaim the Gospel through modern means:
“The Church must also be present in these spaces, as a way of accompanying people in their journey of faith. Social networks are not merely a tool for communication, but a place for genuine encounter.”

We take seriously the call of the Church in Inter Mirifica (1963), which recognizes the role of social communication in shaping the minds and souls of people, and encourages the faithful to use media to share truth and grace. As Spiritans, we are guided by our Congregation’s Rule of Life which state:
“Our mission is especially directed toward the poor and the marginalized, those to whom the Gospel has not been sufficiently preached, and those who are distant from the Church.”

In the spirit of Fr. Francis Libermann, our co-founder, who emphasized responding to the signs of the times with docility to the Holy Spirit, we embrace digital spaces as our new missionary frontiers.
WHY VISUAL NUGGETS?
Because our world scrolls fast. People may not stop to read a full chapter, but they might pause for a powerful image, a short verse, or a line that cuts to the heart. We believe Scripture belongs in the feed. And that it can speak clearly, even through pixels, if offered with prayer and love.

Meet Our Team

Team Leader
Fr. Titus leads the DSN apostolate while serving as a pastor in Iba-Oku, Uyo Diocese, Nigeria. With pastoral sensitivity and theological depth, he oversees the spiritual tone and direction of the daily nuggets.

A former team leader and missionary priest serving in the Netherlands, Fr. Ken ensures the biblical fidelity and spiritual richness of every nugget. His careful guidance grounds the project in sound Catholic exegesis. He oversees the Dutch version of DSN.

Spiritual Curator
Fr. JP serves as Academic Dean and Vice Principal at Bishop Okoye Spiritan Secondary School in Nigeria. His academic background and love for Scripture shape the educational and formative depth of the nuggets.

Working as a missionary in Congo-Brazzaville, Fr. Francis contributes a grounded, incarnational reading of the Bible that resonates with both rural and urban communities.

Currently pastoring in the Diocese of Antwerp, Belgium, Fr. Bruno brings pastoral experience and a strong devotional sense to the daily reflections. He helps adapt the Word to meet real human needs across cultures. He sees to the French version of the DSN.

Based in Germany, Fr. Jude brings pastoral experience from the European context and helps frame the daily nuggets in a way that speaks to the Church in diaspora and post-Christian societies.

Fr. Anthony Nduka
founder
Fr. Anthony, based at the Provincialate in Onitsha, Nigeria, initiated the DSN apostolate. Inspired by the Spiritan charism of evangelizing the poor and neglected, he envisioned a space where Scripture could meet the digital world in a way that is visual, accessible, and soul-nourishing.
